More than 50 elearning developers and agencies have been trained to use the Elucidat authoring tool as a result of a partnership between the award winning technology and Jam Pan, a marketplace which connects expert elearning freelancers and agencies with businesses.
The partnership provides elearning developers with access to the Elucidat Academy as well as a free 90-day trial of the product.
It has proved to be hugely successful for freelancers. Nicky Hoyland, at agency Digital Balance, says access to the Elucidat Academy has helped them to get up to speed with the software. “The training gave us a good springboard to use the software,” she says.
Nicky praised the training provided by the academy. “The training was detailed and thorough and gave us confidence in jumping straight in and using Elucidat.”
As well as helping freelancers and agencies develop new skills, the Elucidat Academy has also helped win new work as demand for the authoring is growing. Elucidat, which won the Gold Award at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards in 2015, is seeing a surge in interest from organizations around the world. The company already boasts a client list that includes Tesco, Johnson & Johnson, and Franklin Covey.
Freelancer Howie Pearson, said that as soon as he had finished his Elucidat training he successfully won a job to build a mobile module for a client. He created an advisory course for people who have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
Other recent projects carried out by freelancers using Elucidat include creating a course for beauty professionals and developing courses for the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Commenting on the success of the Elucidat Academy training, the Elucidat Academy Director, Kirstie Greany, says “Our Academy service aims to fast-track authors to get up to speed with creating modern, mobile, high quality content in Elucidat, in a matter of hours. We’re thrilled that Jam Pan’s network of freelancers are now able to offer Elucidat as part of their skill-set, and that it’s opening them up to additional opportunities with customers.”
Jam Pan founder David Wood adds, “We are delighted that so many freelancers and agencies are making the most of this partnership. We are seeing growing demand for Elucidat skills which we can now meet thanks to Elucidat’s support. Initiatives like this help our clients, our freelancers and our partners.”
